TACONIC HEALTH INFORMATION NETWORK AND COMMUNITY

“Putting the people of the Hudson Valley at the heart of eHealth”

Vision 2014: Innovation & Healthcare in the Hudson Valley

You are cordially invited to an evening event on Thursday, March 20th, 6-8pm at Marist College

with distinguished speakers, who will give you the opportunity to learn about how the

Quality of healthcare given to you will be improved.

In 2004, the Executive Office of the President announced that every American should have an Electronic Health Record (EHR) by the year 2014.  To meet this goal, THINC is leading this project in the Hudson Valley by implementing EHRs in physician practices, further developing the Hudson Valley Health Information Exchange which currently includes five local hospitals, two national labs and over 500 physicians, and has partnered with IBM to create a prototype for a Nationwide Health Information Network.
