Sharon McGinnis

Sharon McGinnis has served as Director of Human Resources at Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation since 2009. Prior to joining Central Hudson, McGinnis worked for Dow Jones Local Media Group for 8 years, most recently as Vice President of Human Resources. McGinnis also worked at Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield in several capacities, including Training Manager and Claims/Customer Service Manager.

McGinnis earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from SUNY New Paltz and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Scranton. In 2008, she was distinguished by the Newspaper Association of America's Presstime Magazine as one of the newspaper industry's "20 under 40" emerging leaders.

In addition to sitting on the THINC Board of Directors, McGinnis also serves of the Hospice Foundation Board for Dutchess and Ulster Counties.
